Recently, a report by The Confederation of British Industry established that no businesses based in the UK are ready for Brexit. Not to doubt the quality of this report and its findings, but at France Removals we were slightly surprised to read this – because we’ve been fully prepared for some time now!

In fact, from the day Britain first leaves the EU, all EU Law will immediately become UK law, so nothing changes there. Plus, there is set to be at least a two year ‘transition period’, following the date of leaving, during which little will immediately change for us.

As above, you may ask us to ship an entire flat or household of items, when we come to complete the removal, but there are many other ways we can ship your items internationally too. You could, for instance, order something online, and organise for it to be sent to us, rather than pay a massive fee for international shipping yourself.

You can also get in touch to enquire about us collecting an item, too. As our vans are active all over the UK and Europe, week in, week out, we could send one of our friendly drivers to your address to collect an item, before bringing it to our London headquarters for shipping. This way, you’re not only saving money on the shipping itself, but also doing a little bit for the environment too.
